How to find us

The Grief Centre is located at 92 Hinemoa Street, Birkenhead, in the Dils Funeral Services building. There is usually plenty of parking on the street, however, there is also parking behind the building—just come up the driveway. Come to the front entrance on Hinemoa St, and up the stairs. Our phone number is (09) 418 1457.

There is a bus stop right outside, serviced by Birkenhead Transport, Routes 960 and 961. You can also get the ferry from the city and a bus from the Birkenhead Wharf.

Driving Instructions

Coming from the City:
1. Head northeast on Northern Mwy 
2. Exit onto Stafford Rd 
3. Turn right at Queen St 
4. Take the 1st left onto Rodney Rd 
5. Turn left at Council Tce 
6. Continue onto Maritime Tce  
7. Turn right at Hinemoa St           
8. Turn right to stay on Hinemoa St
Destination will be on the left                  

Directions from North (Onewa Rd)
1. Head west on Onewa Rd toward Gladstone Rd                   
2. Turn left at Birkenhead Ave                                                    
3. Slight left at Hinemoa St
Destination will be on the right
