Training Membership FAQ's
How do I become a member?
Proceed to our booking page and register for training. Choose the ticket option "New Membership Registration" during the checkout process. The $150 incl GST fee includes the cost of that training session as well as all the additional membership benefits.
A confirmation email will be sent to you with the additional membership benefit access.
How long are Training Membership benefits valid?
Benefits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
How do I access training discounts as a member?
During the checkout process, you can select the ticket option "Member Access" which automatically applies the discount allocated to you.
If you are unsure if you are a member, or if you need to check or renew your membership, email events@griefcentre.org.nz.
How do I access my annual free webinar?

Why do I have to become a member to receive a certificate of accomplishment?
We are committed to ensuring that every person that trains with us receives the right training, the right way. Issuing certificates is a formally recognised process that acknowledges the steps you take to supplement the work you do in your role as a care or support professional working in areas of loss and grief or mental health.
This commitment is extended to the governing bodies and associations we partner with. There are additional steps we take to ensure CPD is monitored and points/credits are issued correctly.
Why is my certificate only valid for 12 months?
Professional development is a necessary and continuous obligation. If you are in practice, your code of ethics may require you to participate in CPD regularly and we want to support this. We encourage trainees to resit content as a refresher as in most cases, statistics update and new theories and information may become available.
How do I purchase additional online training workshops at the discounted member rate?
During the booking process, select "Current Member" and your discount will automatically be applied. There will be authentication questions to confirm you are accessing the member rate with the correct membership capacity.
If you are not a member or if your membership has lapsed, we will issue you an additional invoice to cover the full workshop rate.
How do I check my membership access period?
You can email support@bookingrooster.co.nz to confirm when you registered and when your membership expires.
I no longer require my training membership, can I transfer this to another person?
Unfortunately no. Each membership is unique and cannot be transferred.
How do I access my Certificate of Accomplishment?
There is a short quiz you need to complete in order to receive a certificate.
If you registered to attend a live webinar, the link to this quiz will be emailed to you. Once you complete the quiz and score at least 80%, a certificate will be emailed to you by one of our assessors.
If you registered for access to a webinar recording, the link for this will be included in the workshop access and a certificate will automatically be generated on completion.
How do I access point/credits?
Once you are issued a certificate, you can pass this on directly to your governing body which will apply point/credits directly.
