Parking, transport and accommodation
'Let's talk about grief' conference will be held at the Novotel Auckland, Ellerslie at 72-112 Greenlane East, Auckland, 1051.
Parking
The best option for conference parking is to go to the Gate 2: Pay & Display Area. (left at the second roundabout)
Ellerslie Event Race Course owns this car park. The full day rate for 5 to 24 hours is $7.00 cash. (surcharge applies if using cards) Note: this price is indicative only and subject to change.
Other option: There is limited parking directly outside the hotel for a rate of $20 for 4 to 24 hours on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do not park in the Gate 1 Private Hospital Car Park as this is owned by Ascot Hospital and parking in this area is prohibited.
Transport options
Car:
To get to the hotel using GPS we recommend you enter '84 Ascot Avenue'.
Exit the Motorway at Green Lane (Exit 433). From the south, take the third exit at the roundabout onto Green Lane East. From the north, take the first exit.
Turn right at the first traffic light next to Ascot Hospital onto Ellerslie Racecourse Drive.
To park go to the Gate 2: Pay and display area (left at the second roundabout). The hotel is a one minute walk back towards the motorway.
Train: Greenlane station
Greenlane Station is 2 minute walk via pedestrian passage over the motorway from hotel reception
Purchase tickets on station platform before getting on the train or use AT HOP card to tag on
Tag off using AT HOP card or paper ticket before you exit the train station (It will cost you $3.15 one way to Britomart Station at Downtown next to Queen St & Customs St)
Taxi:
The Novotel recommends using Co-Op Taxi (Blue Bubble) who they have a contract with and therefore have a taxi stand right in front of the hotel. Please inform hotel reception if you need one urgently.

Accommodation
If you require accommodation at the Novotel you will need to book this directly with the hotel. The Grief Centre is not holding rooms but if you mention that you are attending the Let's talk about grief conference the Novotel and Ibis will give you a 15% discount on their best flexible rate.
